Hello Hi55, thanks for asking! This phone is water-resistant up to 50 meters per ISO standard 22810:2010. So it can stay under 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. It is not intended for scuba diving. Avoid excessive, sudden temperature changes and high-velocity activities. It should be rinsed in fresh water/dryed after use in sea water or chlorinated water. ^Elizabeth
