• I'm confused as to what is the samsung activity 8, I'm guessing you mean galaxy 8... yes you can pair with a galaxy 8 in fact that's the phone I have. To answer second question yes the watch comes with spotify. You sign in and are able to play, pause and skip from the watch but music will play from your cell. Hope this helps
