A:AnswerThe cellular versions they release are sold locked to the network that they were sold for. You would have to find a way to get the watch unlocked to accept a different carrier. Even so the watches use e-sim which cannot be changed so you would need to check with your carrier. Personally I got the bluetooth version. I didnt use my LTE features enough to make it worth the monthly fee.
A:AnswerYes you do. Once the watch is linked up to your phone via bluetooth the watch will recieve emails & texts. You can respond back through the watch as well.
A:AnswerIt actually does both! Turn the bezel to the right until you reach the screen to launch apps. You can load six on that screen and you can press the blue dot in the middle to open more apps. Once on the more apps screen you can rotate the bezel to show even more apps.
I've got email and messages both loaded to my default app screen and I'm able to receive and respond to both. Also remember ypu need to set the watch up in the app on your phone.
A:AnswerSamsung sells (to the best of my knowledge) the silicone watch bands only. However, for the 46mm version any 22mm Watch band will work perfectly with this watch!
A:AnswerYes, you can make and answer calls. You can also text as well. I believe if you get it from a cell carrier, you can also go around without having your cellphone with you buy paying a line fee.
A:AnswerAside from looks alone, it offers 164' water resistance, and can be used to track swimming. Better battery life, more fitness tracking capabilities, and a newer version of Tizen, version 4.0. The bands are also smoother, there has been good feedback on their comfort. It does not however have the MST capability for Samsung pay, relying on NFC alone.
A:AnswerNO!!! Samsung does not allow International warranty any longer!!
It says so in the warranty documents, on there website and I have bin talking to Samsung NL ( my country)..
It has to do with different product numbers for different parts of the world.
That goes for tablets, phones and watches.
Even over here, Europe, the Dutch watches do not have warranty outside the country, this is because Dutch watches are sold without the E-sim functionality.( or at least not enabled)
Next door country Germany, just 20 miles from my home, do have E-sim watches and therefore different product codes..
So if you really want to keep your warranty, do not buy outside your warranty zone ( you can contact Samsung trough facebook and ask about it)
I have bought there products for years from USA and took them home with me to EU.. never had any problems with any of there products.
And of there was a problem, the price difference is that big that you would still be cheaper to pay for your repare then to buy it over here in EU.
(depends on whats broken of course)
A:AnswerYes. From their web site's footnotes...
"9Water-resistant up to 50 meters per ISO standard 22810:2010. Not intended for scuba diving. Avoid excessive, sudden temperature changes and high-velocity activities. Rinse in fresh water/dry after use in sea water or chlorinated water."
A:AnswerGo to www.samsungpromotions.com/galaxywatch. Follow the directions. All pre orders are eligible for most retailers. I bought mine from Best Buy and was approved about a week after.
