Based on here, the watch is water resistant to a certain meter. 50 meters if I am not mistaken. By researching this, I am pretty sure you can use it to go swimming. To also help with protection of the watch, it also has a water lock feature which blocks touches and unintended interactions. It has a feature as well that creates a sound that expels water if water does get into the watch or speakers
