It measures heart rate on your wrist. No need for attachments.

Please try again later.I'm not sure about how that work if you have a strap or whatever but I do know you can download the app for that but they don't require you to actually depend on that because it may not be accurate and you may be in trouble but if I was sitting in your place with that I wouldn't trust it
