The actual fit does not drain your battery, but it does require your phone have bluetooth on and that does affect the battery life on your phone.

Although, if you receive a massive amount of notifications, then it could have some. No different than being connect to a ear piece via Bluetooth. Most Blue tooth components are very low power today.
