Thank you for reaching out to us with your question, VanMan. You can answer or reject incoming calls on your Gear Fit2, however you won't be able to talk through the gear itself. Conversations are only possible on the connected smartphone. If you accept a call with the Gear Fit2, it will lauch the phone app on your smartphone answering it there. But it does tell you who is calling and you can answer or ignore. If there's no Bluetooth device hooked up it will answer on your phone. FYI...I have the GearFit2 hooked up to both my phone and Bluetooth headphones simultaneously.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. As long as you are wearing a Bluetooth you can answer calls. It shows who is calling, and you can choose to answer , reject, or respond with a pre-saved text. It also shows incoming texts and lets you respond from the watch. Very convenient!

Either way the conversation will come out over your car's system. It would do the same with your headset but you wouldn't wear those while driving.
