I believe it links with spotify automatically out of the box. If you don't use that you can load music onto it using Samsung music, which is what I do. It holds a lot of music on it, and I have several playlists saved on mine. It's so great not having to carry around an ipod. It's all right there on your wrist. The music feature was a big selling point for me, and one of the main things I love about this device.
