A:Answer You can't text as you do it with your phone, choosing a person and then text this person. What you can do is to answer a text you receive. After you receive a text, you can read it in you watch and answer it. You can pre- arrange some useful answers on you phone to use it in your watch, such as, I am busy now, thank you, yes please, no thank you, etc. Or you can answer a text with just an icon. You can also, using your watch, reject phone calls with a text, for example, "I am busy call you later". You can create your own answering texts. I send you a sample of my quick texts that I use to answer through my watch. I love this device!!! It should be ok with your Samsung 8. I have a Samsung 7 and it works perfectly.
