I am also trying to find out if it is, the only way is to kn ow for sure is to insert a sim card, from another carrier. I read a comment where a person says he did get it unlocked, but does not say if it worked with a foreign sim card???. that;s the only way to know. or at least try another carrier sim card, at least.
