“I have the gear 2 and Note 5 phone. The phone puts itself in driving mode when connecting to the Gear 2. Will it do the same for the S2? It is annoying to have the phone in driving mode because it connects to the watch. Samsung customer assistance has logged into the phone 3 different times and it still does it.”

• You have to go to message settings and turn on Drive Mode

• There is a setting in car mode that tells it to launch when bluetooth connects. Have you disabled that? Samsung support knows nothing about car mode; they think it's a third party app.

• It doesn't make phone call with the watch speaker, it opens up your phone to do that unlike Gear 2. No good.
