A:AnswerThe other models aren't unlocked. This is the only model on BestBuy.com that can make calls/texts while away from your phone (IT HAS TO BE ADDED AS A LINE TO YOUR PHONE BILL FOR 10$ A MONTH). The other models cannot do that. They have to be within bluetooth range of the phone they are paired with to interact with them. This one you can leave the phone at home, and use the watch as your phone. That is why the others don't have a carrier listed under them.
A:AnswerNo, it won't. I asked around (Samsung specialist at Best Buy & Samsung live chat). I have Sprint, too. It'll only work with AT&T. This model won't take calls on Sprint using 3/4G nor Bluetooth. I heard Sprint may be getting this model in January.
A:AnswerProbably because they offer 3g/4g service through at&t. But if you're not with at&t contact your carrier to see if they have the watch and theyll be able to provide you with service for it. I have this watch through verizon and it works great.
A:AnswerIt has to be paired. This model does anyway. I think they made a version of this that had cellular though. Cellular does come with a 10$ monthly charge (usually)
A:AnswerThanks for the inquiry! Other than the size differences, the only big difference between these models is that the 42MM is email compatible & the 52MM is not. Hope this helps your decision! ^Mel
A:AnswerThe catch to the 99 dollar price is it becomes an added line which can operate free of your phone..gps is as good as the one on your smartphone.
A:AnswerThe only thing about the standalone is that you need the watch to be activated with its own number, than you can number sync it to your mobile number and receive calls/messages directly from your phone to watch. If you are on att it's 10 a month for wearables.
