The other models aren't unlocked. This is the only model on BestBuy.com that can make calls/texts while away from your phone (IT HAS TO BE ADDED AS A LINE TO YOUR PHONE BILL FOR 10$ A MONTH). The other models cannot do that. They have to be within bluetooth range of the phone they are paired with to interact with them. This one you can leave the phone at home, and use the watch as your phone. That is why the others don't have a carrier listed under them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You pay 50$ more (ATT charges 300$ for the device. BB for some reason charges 350$) to have a speaker with sound and speakerphone capability. The cheaper model does not have a speaker at all and so you cannot use the watch to talk with anyone. Also, now that ATT has finally released NumberSync, I can use my watch by itself and have it tied to the same cell number as my main phone. In other words, I can leave my phone home, but use my watch to make calls and texts to my contacts and people will know it is me because the number is the same. This to me was worth the extra cash.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The sim isn't removable. There's not an unlocked version.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You're right...if you're planning to leave at&t then I wouldn't do it. The only advantage of the 3g vs is that its a standalone device and you can literally leave your phone home and not miss a call email or a text msg. You can even make calls from a number that's assigned to the phone. Besides that...no difference....
