It can work both ways!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know the frontier model for T-Mobile doesn't have to be connected to your phone. It has its own sim card. So I would think this one is the same.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can do it either way. I have mine set up with it's own phone line for an extra $10/MO(w/AT&T, I can't speak for other carriers) and I can leave my phone at home and just use the watch with or without a Bluetooth headset to make and receive calls, texts, receive emails, etc. And (also w/AT&T) you can use NumberSync to make it where people can call your phone number associated with your cell phone and it will call the watch instead of using the watch's line.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This watch, the AT&T version, gives you the choice to leave your phone at home and just go out with the watch. Once you 'Number Sync' your phone will automatically redirect any calls or texts to your watch, all you have to do is say "answer" or "reject" to take or decline the call. Your contact picture and info will be displayed when they call or text you. You can also 'tell' your phone to call any of your contacts or dictate a number so you can initiate a call or text yourself. It has GPS capabilities so you can use any of your navigation apps while your phone is home, make sure you download the app to your phone first. It also allows you to make payments at any checkout stand that takes debit or credit card payments, all you have to do is tap your watch on it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would need to be connected.
