• Yes, it can. The initial pairing process is the same for all models (Bluetooth and LTE). You can then disable LTE through airplane mode and enable Bluetooth to use as your connection. Hope this helps.

• Yes, I use this exact same setup. The samsung Gear app will walk you thru this setup. If you choose not to activate on AT&T, you can still use with Bluetooth & WiFi to your S5.

• Yes, the S5 can be paired with it via Bluetooth. On the LTE and maybe none LTE, WiFi can be used to connect to your phone as well. You can set things up so that WiFi is only used when the phone and watch are out of Bluetooth range. Keep in my this only work when both devices are on the same WiFi network.
