• You can watch movies on it. Either ones you have purchased from the oculus store, and ones from hulu and netflix (they have their own apps) and also you can store movies on your phone, and access them from the oculus theater app

• Watching movies on the Gear VR is AMAZING. Netflix and Hulu both have dedicated apps for the Gear VR. I recently watched the Graduate on the "big screen" in VR and it was incredible. I wear the Gear VR with my glasses and find that watching a movie in VR is BETTER for me than being in a movie theater. The Gear VR is the greatest thing ever. Don't even HESITATE -- just buy it.

• Yes you can watch movies and it is like being in a movie theater, the screen is huge in vr.

• Movies are great with this. They must be vr compatible though unless you use an app that makes it able to be viewed... ie Netflix, hulu...etc. Netflix is great on this device.
