It dose not plug in at all, it has no cord's. Your phone attaches to the front of it, If you want to charge you phone while your using it, then it has a little charging port on the bottom of it that is the same as your phone. She obviously has the cord to charge her phone, but it's not needed. Just put the phone in and she will be good, hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend that you purchase the Oculus go instead of the gear VR. They run on the same platform Virtual Technology come on but the Oculus go does not require a phone, and it can be charged while you are using it. In Europe they usually run off of DC power. There should be a converter that she should already own to convert things from AC to DC. If not, the fine people at Best Buy should be able to help you purchase a converter
