• Yes - you can. I am typing on this very machine at the moment running Windows 7. In order to get the correct drivers for it -go to Samsung's site - and download the drivers for OTHER 14 or 15 inch Windows 7 computers. Over the phone on Monday, a Samsung rep told me how to do this The machine runs fine on Win 7.

• Legally, switchback to windows 7 is allowed only on machines with Windows 8 Pro. I hated Windows 8 too when I first started using it. I am beginning to get used to it, even like it.
