• It will fit but would not work. PS5 requires Gen 4 drives with at least 5000MB/S read speeds. This drive is Gen 3 with only 3500 MB/S read speed.

• No. You need to purchase a Samsung SSD 980 PRO which is PCIe 4.0. This is PCIe3.0 which is NOT compatible for the speeds which the PS5 requires. Make sure you purchase a heat sink if purchasing the 980 PRO or simply buy the one with included heat sink. Cheers!
