• If you continue reading down to Product Features, you will see "3D Technology" for full 3d content, you need to pair this Blue-ray player with a 3d HDTV.

• I did a "Chat Support" session with Samsung support and asked about 3D support for BD-J5100 and BD-J5700 and got the following reply: "I have checked the information for you and found that both the players do not support 3D functionality. The 3D functions start with BD-J7500 player." I informed them that their "Profile 5" spec must be in error - and Bestbuy should remove this from the 3D players list - other sites do also say "3D Ready"

• This is NOT a 3D player. For $28 I bought it anyway not knowing for sure, but it is not a 3D Blu-Ray player.

• The BD-J5100 specs say "Blu-ray Profile 5", which added 3D Profile 5.0 was released to cover the introduction of 3D Blu-ray discs A profile 5.0 player requires HDMI 1.4, and supports the playback of 3D video along the accompanying 3D menus and subtitles
