There isn't a paper manual. You need to download the Gear Fit Manager from the Samsung app store, which updated should be now called Galaxy Apps. When you open the app it walks you through it and it's really easy to use.

Go to the app store and download S Health and Gear fit manager on your phone or tablet once installed on the watch under settings use the Bluetooth to connect to device use Gear fit manager to set up the watch and S Health to track everything
