what exactly is refurbished null

Geek Squad Certified is a returned item that has to be tested for all available types of functionality. Once it works properly, is updated, and verified functional Geek Squad will factory restore and remove all personal information. Manufacturer refurbished is basically a repaired unit that had a problem and was fixed, then verified.

its a returned item, for whatever reason. it goes under the assuption that the item has been used at least once. Best Buy will clear and reset the watch, make any repairs if any are needed. they do a lot of testing to make sure the item is as close to "like new" as possible. I bought the GearFit reburbished and have had no issues at all.

I woke up this morning and my Samsung Gear Fit was dead. Tried to charge it, but it did not work. Called the Geek Squad, the tech said I should have purchased the extended warranty. I told him the original box that came with the watch says "Geek Squad 90-days limited warranty". He transferred me to another dept. and that dept. transferred me back to Geek Squad. They started to play ping-pong. My personal opinion, BestBuy Geek Squad is not reliable. I am going to store to talk face to face. The unit has not been even one month yet.

Refurbished means that it was reconditioned by the factory to like new condition.
