• Hi Gramps! You will be able to utilize the optical audio cable to connect the HW-A450 to a 6 series Samsung. In order to wirelessly connect the soundbar to the TV, the TV needs to support Bluetooth audio; this feature is available on the TU7000 Crystal UHD TV or above. ^Tim

• No you’ll still need to connect the supplied fiber optic cable. The subwoofer is wireless it just needs to be plugged into the outlet.
