“Do the Music frames ADD to the sound coming out of the Frame TV or REPLACE the sound. The video and sales associates says it adds, but the tech couldn't make that work. I still want to hear sound from the TV ALSO when using the Frames.”

No you can't. I tried. It would never sync up that way. It was always either the Frames or the TV....despite showing that all 3 were linked as output together. I'm not alone in this according to the feedback. The inconsistencies in connection generally and the aforementioned caused me to return them today. It's a pity because they sound great, but the connectivity is not yet pefected.
