- Answer Hi welzjd! We recommend placing the HW-Q900A Soundbar directly in front of you and preferably at ear level for the best audio quality; however, you can place it above your TV if you would like! The Q900A Soundbar features Dolby Atmos/DTS:X technologies and 2 up-firing channels that use the walls and ceilings of your space to produce a more immersive experience; you may find you prefer the audio experience delivered from this soundbar when placed above your TV. ^Gina

QuestionHow much does the soundbar itself weigh(without the subwoofer)? I need to know to calculate the total weight of the soundbar and tv for my wall bracket.

- Answer The Samsung website says that the sound bar weighs 37.3 lbs. It is a solid device and was a bit bigger than I thought it would be. Sounds awesome though.

- Answer Hi John! The HW-Q900A does not support Dolby Vision pass-through, however it does support 4K HDR10+ pass-through. ^Tim
