Hello Soonerfan, As long as you are using the HDMI TV ARC/eARC input of your TV to the Samsung Soundbar you should have no problems. If you do have any issues, try a new HDMI cable, and then try a Digital Optical Cable. You will not have access to certain features that the HW-Q930B Soundbar offers when connected to a Samsung TV such as Q-Symphony and Dolby Atmos over Wi-Fi. ~Samsung Solutions
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have a sony TV so I can't tell you if there are any issue with connection to Sony TV, but I can tell you is that as long as the TV has ARC HDMI input on the TV you should be able to use this sound bar, My TV is a Samsung so I have no issue with connection this sound bar to my TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a problem with connecting the back speaker ,but the sub woofer had no problem connecting. My problem was the sub woofer stayed connected all the time when I turned it on,but the back speakers didn't connect. So I finally figured it out I had to reset them all together at on time. Reset sub woofer and the back speakers at the same time, then they all connected. Great sound Both my TV and sound bar are Samsung . Good luck
