• Hello Dancingbear4, The HW-Q990B Soundbar has the ability to connect using eARC, and this will be the best way to connect your Soundbar to the TV. Using HDMI port 3 (eARC) for your soundbar, and then connecting your video game console to port 4 (HDMI 2.1) will allow you to have all of the features of both your console and soundbar. ~Samsung Solutions

• I connected my XBox to my tv and the sound bar to the eArc HDMI port. You should try that
