“Are rear surround speakers wired to sound bar? Require any power, electrical outlet for power?”

Rear speaker is connect wirelessly with sound bar but it require electrical outlet to power the rear speaker

Hi dlee, The HW-Q990B Soundbar has rear speakers that truly wireless to the soundbar itself. But they will need to be plugged in for power to an outlet. ~Samsung Solutions

No, they are wireless and sync up though automatically. And each one plugs in separately.

No wiring required. You can link them wirelessesly. You will however, need to plug them into an electrical outlet to power them up.

The rear speakers and subwoofer are wireless. The subwoofer and rear speakers need power. This sound bar system sounds fantastic and is worth every penny! You will not be disappointed, especially if you have a Samsung 4k tv!
