• Hi SoundBox, The rear speakers included with the HW-Q990B Soundbar are newly designed in 2022 so they will have an improved aesthetic look. Internally the rears feature front-firing, side-firing, and top-firing speakers. The SWA-9500S Wireless Rear Speakers feature front-firing and top-firing speakers. ~Samsung Solutions

• the included rears have an extra center firing speaker in addition to the over heads and forward facing speakers.
