A:AnswerOMG yes, I'm going thru this right now-- been almost 3 months trying to figure this out-- they've replaced 4 parts-- and it still will not function like when we first got it--- worked great of rite first 3 months, then we noticed dishes weren't getting clean, not drying, and massive detergent stains on the door at the end of the cycle-- basically the soap dispenser isn't opening at the right time--- too late, and the water wall isn't cleaning with enough pressure, and the door is opening to soon and not drying the dishes--- ridiculous I tell you
A:AnswerCan't speak to other models but this one seems to work well, if not a little over priced not on sale. It has one spinning arm in the roof for the third drawer, one for the middle, and the water wall for the bottom. The middle rack adjusts up for bigger items. It's pretty easy to block the middle arm or the top arm if you put something tall in the bottom or third rack if you aren't paying attention. Only big issue I've had is WiFi function being pretty useless because you have to turn the washer on and press the smart button to let you control anything from the phone.
A:AnswerYes. You have to set it up and can also disable it through the app. Also you can select a button on the front of the unit to turn it off. It is labeled “smart control”

A:Answerthe drying is actually one of the better aspects of this machine. we run it mostly overnight, because the heavy washing mode takes more than 2 hours. there is a feature that opens the door at the end of the cycle to help dry. most of our dishes come out dry. they just don't always come out clean. :(
A:AnswerAnyone can have this problem with any dishwasher and any type of soap. I have found that loading the area of the lower rack (usually the front left) where the soap dispenser is with either plates or other things that allow the water jets to shoot cleanly to the area of the dispenser solves it almost 100% of the time. I have owned/used dozens of dishwashers, different brands, etc. This is a universal issue and solution. Many people will place pots, pans, cups, etc, in that area and then the water is blocked or deflected away from the dispenser -don't.
A:AnswerAs soon as the door is closed the smart control is re-enabled. The reason it's disabled when the door is open is to prevent you trying to start a cycle remotely when the door is open. I've never had to re-enable the smart control after opening and closing the door.
