• This washer is extremely quiet compared to ones I have had in the past. You can hear it but it doesn't make enough noise to bother you.

• It's pretty quiet...It'd definitely quieter than the one we had previously which was a GE bottom line. What's cute is at the end of the cycle, it plays a little song instead of an obnoxious beep.

• Yes very much so. But I'm comparing this to the old washers that shake and agitate when the load is unbalanced. Our washer is in the garage sharing a wall with our kitchen and I can't hear anything even standing in the kitchen.
