• This dishwasher is every bit of 25 inches. Plus the discharge tube that is 1inch thick at least. It might be too tight.

• Our counter top bottom to floor is 34.5 and it went in without any problem. I think dishwasher nowadays are all of same height.if you had dishwasher there before then this one should be able to slide right in.
