• Yes I am using a usbc to usbc connection between this monitor and my mac M2. The usb carries both signal and power.

• Yes until the port stops working. I purchased the monitor in December and one morning the laptop wouldn't recognize the monitor was plugging in but still recognized my other Samsung monitor.
