• I have a Galaxy S5 and I just watched an hour and a half video on my hi-def large screen TV. It works perfectly. I did learn however, that this will not work on a Galaxy 6 or newer. You need a special Hub which is only available from Samsung website. It doesn't make sense, but that's the way it is!

• Samsung makes an HDTV Adapter that uses your charging port to adapt to hdmi, its an HDTV Smart Adapter with MHL Technology #ET-H10FAUWESTA, got mine at best buy
