“charging while using when using the device with a slow speed charger with my galaxy s5, it keeps connecting and disconnecting. Can I use the high speed charger I got with my phone with the slow speed cord so it fits in the charger receptacle? Will this fix the problem? Or is there an adapter or a charger which will correct my issue? What I currently do is charge my phone to 100% and I am able to watch 2 movies before I have to recharge it. It would be nice to use the charge feature as designed.”

You don't need to use a different cable. You do however need to make sure that your charger is a 2 Amp rather than a 1 amp. This will make sure that your charging stays ahead of your playback powe use. A lot of micro USB to USB Chargers are only one amp, so make sure you are using a 2 Amp charger. Good luck!
