“Anyone know the maximum temp it can withstand? I put one my mailbox and it reached temps over 120 degs today but temps outside were below 90. I assume on a hot day it might reach 150. Is that too much? Thanks”

Iv had my sensor preform flawlessly at over 175 consistently!

I have mine on my back gate in Corpus Christi Texas. Temp reading often gets to 140+. No issues so far....

Theoretically it should be ok. I can’t guarantee it. But the sensor itself should be good. The heat will more than likely hurt battery life more than the sansor
