• Unfortunately it cannot. It must be plugged in to an outlet to be used.

• Hi Flaco! The MX-T50 Sound Tower does not feature a built in battery allowing you to charge the speaker to use when not plugged in. This Sound Tower will require a power connection to a nearby outlet in order to be used. ^Tim
