I suspect the screws to disassemble the laptop are under the rubber pad strips on the bottom. Then it would have to be disassembled to replace the battery. I haven't done it, but that is how the previous Spectre series is taken apart.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to open the actual laptop up in order to replace it. There are a few tutorials online that may be helpful. There were about 4-6 screws on the bottom to take off. Pry the edges and remove the top layer of the laptop. As you lift there are two connectors (one for the keyboard and one for the mouse I believe) that you'll have to disconnect. The battery is in the rear I believe (closest to the screen)
