Yes this laptop has a camera/microphone. It does not have a CD/DVD drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Of course it has a microphone / camera. Even the cheapest, most basic laptops have them now. As far as lack of a CD / DVD drive, we (society) have been moving away from physical media. Just a couple years ago, Best Buy dedicated more than a few aisles for music & movies. It has now dwindled to perhaps one? Removing a piece of moving hardware does a few things. Makes the laptop smaller, lighter, and it's one of the very few items in a laptop that is mechanical, and more likely to fail than solid state devices. Virtually none of newer laptops have them. Not much of a need. If you really need one (in my case I did converting all my CD's to mp3's), you can buy an external for under $25 that connects via USB.
