Yes the Notebook 9 Pro can be used for gaming but the types of games you can play depends on which model you have. The 13" models only have the Intel integrated graphics so you can only play basic 3D games. The Notebook 9 Pro 15" machines have an ATI 540 with 2GB of dedicated RAM, which will allow you to play more GPU intensive 3D games. Although the 540 may not play newer game titles as well as a Gaming machine would if the game has high memory and gpu processing requirements. The video resolution you play games at will also have an impact on the performance. You should be able to play newish titles at lower resolutions with med/low settings and get playable frame rates. The Notebook 9 Pro 15" isn't really marketed as a gaming machine, it's more of a business class and art/design orientated machine. If you're not into digital art or 3D design work etc. using a digital stylus/pen then the Notebook 9 Pro probably isn't the best choice in your case. The Wacom EMR pen (Samsung S-Pen) technology is what makes the Notebook 9 Pro pretty unique in this class of machine.
