Have not used this for video editing, though I suspect it would not perform well due to the curvature. You'll get minor distortion near the edges and the backlighting on this is not super great for editing. That's just the way it was designed, there aren't enough lighting areas across the length to get an even backlighting. For editing I would recommend you get a 4k HDR IPS monitor these will be the most color accurate. LG makes some very good ones, don't have a model number off hand.
