• So, here’s the thing with the Macs. Their USB-C to DP or HDMI, has issues when running the display port a 1.4, but works fine at 1.2. However, I already had a Thunderbot 3 docking station and when connected to the MacBook, it worked perfectly in DP1.4 mode at 120 Hz.

• It does work with M1 Macs, you just have to set the resolution scale. It works with third party VESA mounts, you just have to make sure the mount you’re using can hold the weight. The Ergotron HX is the only desk mount I know that will hold the weight up.
