Yes it will you need a thunderbolt to DisplayPort wire in order to get the full resolution but the MacBook Pro for sure supports the full 5120x1440 resolution

The Macbook does not support the CRG9's default resolution of 5120x1440 but does support it at about 3800x1440 (not sure of the exact resolution). The image is acceptable at that resolution. You must change your display setting to Resolution: Scaled and "More Space".

Not even with Usb-c to display port cable, it will glitch out and start flickering. a temporary solution would be and HDMI cable on 3840x1080 on 60 hertz in the MacBook and 120 on the monitor. also MacBook should be on more space option before connecting. I know it sucks but this is your best. next option will be to get computer that supports this resolution. now level up brokie.
