A:AnswerNo. This is not Windows OS. It is Google Chrome OS.
That being said many schools now use Chromebooks as they are easy to use, learn, and many of their Google produced/developed apps are free. That being said, if you prefer the Microsoft Office suites you can get those for any ChromeBook and they will be compatible with any Microsoft Office Suite released in 2016 or later on any other device including Windows PCs, Macs (Apple), or Andriod device which also is running either the newest Google Docs or MS Office Suites. All three of my kids (ages 6 to 16) use Chromebooks like this at school.
A:AnswerThis is what happened to an HP Chromebook that I purchased. Your computer is damaged, and there is no way that you can fix it; a professional would need to do so. So if it's still under warranty, return it for repairs or replacement.
