• No, you have to plug the base to an outlet, and place the phone on the base to charges this is a wireless charge. It does not get power from Wi-Fi connection

• You have to plug in the base then place your phone onto the base. I found the charge to be extremely slow. I returned the bundle package.

• You have to plug it into wall charger just like your phone. It does not use WiFi, it uses inductive current like a magnet or inductive stove top.
