“I bought an open box. After reading reviews here complaining that they got Q990B (2022 model) instead of the Q990C (2023 model), I checked mine and sure enough they said 990B. Was I duped or did Samsung not make any hardware changes between "B" an "C" ?”

Hello Hokie. Biggest difference is the HW-Q990C has Q-Symphony 3.0, SmartThings hub and improved surround sound and Atmos up-mixing capabilities offering better surround sound than the HW-Q990B. ~ Samsung Solutions
