“I have a Samsung QN9DA which says it is Q Symphony compatible. However, this soundbar description is confusing in that says the wireless Dolby Atmos is compatible with 2023 CU7000 model and above. Will this bar's wireless Dolby Atmos work with my tv?”

Hi Craig, Wireless Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony are two different features. Your Samsung Q9DA TV and the HW-Q990C Soundbar will be able to use Q-Symphony as a feature together. Wireless Dolby Atmos is a feature that was introduced in 2022, the Q9DA was released in 2021 so it is not compatible with Wireless Dolby Atmos. ~Samsung Solutions
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Samsung QN90B with the HW-Q990c dolby atmos works with HDMI & Wireless. I suggest setting up the tv and sound bar at the same time meaning with tv and sound bar unplugged from wall.. make your connections then turn bar & tv on this brought up the tv set-up menu for sound bar. I personally set-up the HDMI however the wireless after that is just a simple selection from either the TV or the sound bar. as is TV+Soundbar wifi / HDMI which is the Q-symphony
