There is no wire connection between the sound bar and sub, but the satellite speakers require a cable between them which limit placement.

Hi SP, The Soundbar, Subwoofer and the Rear Speakers will connect wirelessly. You will need to plug everything in for power in to an outlet. Also the Rear Speakers do require speaker wire plugging in to a wireless transmitter. ~Samsung Solutions
