Q: QuestionHi, question about the Wireless Rear Speakers. I know the rear speakers are "wireless" as far as the signal is concerned but do they still need an AC power cord running to them to fire up? I want to have these from the ceiling but without cords.

• A:Answer There are no options for totally cordless applications. You have to consider the fact that power is required to achieve sound. If you want 100% cordless then you have to recharge them which will become annoying very fast. If you don't want to deal with an outlet and cord then you have to revert back to a system from the early 2000s and no one wants that.

• A:Answer Hello Anthony! You can simply connect the HW-Q990F Soundbar to your TV's Arc port just like you usually do. To make adjustments to it, you can easily use the SmartThings app. Just make sure the TV's audio is set to the soundbar. Additionally, you can connect the Apple TV to the soundbar's pass-through and use it through there. ~ Samsung Solutions

• A:Answer Unless your viewing/listening needs require things to be wall mounted, then there is really no "install" needed. You simply connect the bar to the TV, plug in the bar, subwoofer and surround speakers and you're in business.

Q: QuestionDo the rear speakers have wireless communication with the sound bar? It may be implied, but I don't see specs for the rear speakers. I assume they are wireless and only need a power supply (AC plug to a receptacle), but I don't want to make an assumption.

Q: QuestionI know the rear speakers connect to the soundbar through a type of transponder positioned on the back part of the room. Does that transponder need to be in direct line of the soundbar for optimal connection? Or can it be positioned per say behind a couch?
