• Yes you can buy these speakers separately. Yes they are sold in the store and we have ours on a short stool behind the couch but you can hang them as well.

• Previously went through the same issue. Bought 2-R5 speakers and 2 end tables to place them on. Not realizing until I unpacked them that they have holes for speaker mounts/stands directly in the center of the unit (downward facing). I do not remember the thread size, but they appear standard.

• The speaker has a threaded mounting hole on the bottom of the speaker. The threads are the same standard as on the bottom of a camera for mounting on a tripod. I have not looked at wall mounts but if you can find mounts that support screwing the speakers on to them they will work. Keep in mind the have to plug into a wall plug for power.
